McNeilus Steel, Inc. began as a company in 1948 when Harry McNeilus purchased a scrap yard and a single truck. He would sell steel right off of that truck. Today a fleet of over 50 trucks delivers over one million pounds of steel daily. Even with a rich history, McNeilus Steel, Inc. does not rest on its laurels. We are constantly striving to add services that will best aid our customer. Today, Harry's son, Pat steers the company into the future.
In recent years McNeilus Steel's operations have seen many expansions. In 1997 a new facility was added in Fargo. Construction was completed and the Fargo location opened operations in January of 1998, which has both increased the coverage area, as well as opened new territory for McNeilus Steel's trucks to roam. Additions from the Baker Building in Dodge Center, to the expansion in 1999 of the Baker Building and more expansion planned for the Coil Warehouse show McNeilus Steel's continued need for growth in even our Dodge Center location. |
