What is stretcher leveling? Stretcher leveling is process that stretches the entire cross section (width & thickness) of the sheet without the use of bending or compressive forces. This unique process creates a product in which all stresses are equalized.
McNeilus Steel, Inc. utilizes stretcher-leveling technology to provide the flattest, most stress-free product available in the market today. We currently utilize three Red Bud stretcher-levelers with leveling capabilities up to .500” – 72” wide high strength steel. The combination of the three lines provides a gauge range from .029" - .500", with blanking capacity up to .134" – 72" wide.
